Rana forreri is a species of frog in the Ranidae family. It is found in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, rivers, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marches, urban areas, heavily degraded former forest, water storage areas, aquaculture ponds, seasonally flooded agricultural land, and canals and ditches.
